City Night Line fare overview
Clear price system - without additional fees!
To travel on a City Night Line train, you need a ticket for the relevant route plus the supplement for a reservation in a sleeping, couchette or seated car. For your journey to or from Germany, you will get the international price, Europa Spezial.
If you have already purhased rail tickets for the selected route, all you need to do is pay the supplement to reserve the comfort class you wish.

A fee of 25% (minimum of EUR 15/ CHF 19 per berth/seat) is payable for changes of supplements for sleeping, couchette or seated cars made up to 10 days before departure. A fee of 50% of the reservation charge (minimum of EUR 15/ CHF 19 per berth/seat) is payable for changes of bookings made between 9 days before departure and the day of departure. No changes of booking and no refunds for reservations are possible after the train has departed.
Further information about changes of booking and refunds for your ticket (e.g. Sparpreis saver fares, Europa-Spezial or standard fares) is available from the POS.
100% of the ticket price is payable as change of booking / cancellation fee for “Spar-Night” special offer tickets. No changes of booking or refunds are possible after the train has departed.
All global standard fare tickets can be returned up to 10 days before departure subject to a fee of 10% (minimum of EUR 15/ CHF 19 per berth/seat). A fee of 25% of the reservation charge is payable for changes of bookings made between 9 days and 24 hours before departure, and a fee of 50% for changes of booking made between 24 hours before departure and the time of departure. A fee of 75% will be charged for changes of booking after the train has departed.

The most comfortable way to travel is the Sleeping car. Each Deluxe sleeping compartment has its own bathroom with washbasin, shower and WC and breakfast is included.
